Misalnya seorang penjaga gawang meletakkan bola yang diam di garis gawang, lalu menendang bola tersebut ke arah depan, menyebabkan bola tersebut bergerak ke depan menuju kawan dari penjaga gawang tersebut. Nah, kita mengetahui bahwa bola yang diam akan bergerak ketika gaya tendangan penjaga gawang pada bola. Gaya tendangan pada bola termasuk gaya kontak yang bekerja hanya dalam waktu singkat disebut <\/span><b>gaya impulsif<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>Gaya impulsif mengawali suatu percepatan dan menyebabkan bola bergerak cepat dan semakin cepat.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Untuk membahas hubungan gaya impulsif pada tubuh, Quipper Blog akan memberikan 2 ilustrasi sebagai berikut:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gaya impulsif menyebabkan <\/span><b>rasa sakit pada diri<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> apabila <\/span><b>kontak yang terjadi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pada tubuh kita dalam <\/span><b>selang waktu yang kecil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Contohnya dalam pertandingan atau latihan <\/span><b>judo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> selalu diadakan di atas <\/span><b>matras<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> bukan di atas lantai dan juga seorang <\/span><b>atlet karateka<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> selalu menarik <\/span><b>kepalan tangannya secara cepat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sewaktu melayangkan <\/span><b>pukulan lurus pada diri lawannya<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Pada kasus pertama ketika pejudo dibanting di atas matras atau lantai, impuls yang dialaminya sama.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namun karena <\/span><b>selang waktu kontak antara punggung pejudo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dan matras berlangsung <\/span><b>lebih lama daripada antara punggung pejudo dan lantai<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, maka <\/span><b>gaya impulsif<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> yang dikerjakan <\/span><b>matras pada punggung lebih kecil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> daripada gaya impulsif yang <\/span><b>dikerjakan lantai pada punggung. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebagai akibatnya<\/span><b>, pejudo yang dibanting di matras<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dapat menahan rasa sakit akibat <\/span><b>bantingan yang dialaminya<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Desain faktor keselamatan mobil<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebuah mobil yang memperhatikan faktor keselamatan di dalamnya terdiri dari <\/span><b>kantung udara, sabuk pengaman, rangka bodi yang kuat, dan gumpalan pada bagian depan dan belakang mobil<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Desain faktor keselamatan pada mobil ditunjukkan pada gambar 5. Dalam pembuatan desain faktor keselamatan mobil menggunakan prinsip dari gaya impulsif. Bagian depan dan belakang mobil didesain agar dapat <\/span><b>menggumpa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l secara perlahan ketika tabrakan yang terjadi sehingga menyebabkan <\/span><b>selang waktu kontak<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> lebih <\/span><b>lama<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dan sangat <\/span><b>mengurangi gaya impulsif yang akan diterima pengemudi.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebuah kantung udara diletakkan di antara setir dan pengemudi dibuat dari <\/span><b>bahan yang lunak.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Hal ini dikarenakan supaya <\/span><b>impuls <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">yang diberikan kantong udara akan berlangsung <\/span><b>lebih lama<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dan akan mengurangi gaya impulsif yang dikerjakan kantong udara pada pengemudi. <\/span><b>Fungsi kantung udara<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> antara lain : sebagai penyangga karena tabrakan membuat mobil berhenti dengan cepat, pengurang momentum karena pengendara bergerak ke depan dengan cepat, sebuah impuls untuk pengurang momentum pengendara sehingga menjadi nol (memberhentikan pengendara).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebuah sabuk keselamatan dibuat dari <\/span><b>bahan elastis seperti karet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dan letaknya kira-kira kurang <\/span><b>dari 50 cm<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Sabuk keselamatan ini didesain untuk dapat memberikan <\/span><b>impuls <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">yang dapat memberhentikan <\/span><b>pengemudi dalam selang waktu tertentu (waktu kontak)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> setelah pengemudi dan sabuk keselamatan menempuh jarak tertentu yang aman. Sabuk keselamatan harus dibuat dengan <\/span><b>bahan elastis dan tidak boleh dari bahan yang kaku<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> hal ini dikarenakan pada saat tabrakan, sabuk akan mengerjakan impuls pada tubuh pengemudi dalam <\/span><b>waktu yang sangat singkat (mendekati nol).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Hal tersebut memberikan gaya impulsif yang sangat besar yang <\/span><b>bekerja pada tubuh<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pengemudi sehingga akan sangat <\/span><b>menyakitkan pengemudi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, bahkan dapat membahayakan jiwanya.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>b. Gaya dorong pada roket<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebuah roket yang akan bergerak menuju ke luar angkasa akan mengalami <\/span><b>gaya dorong<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Gaya dorong ini sesuai dengan prinsip dari perubahan momentum yaitu:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-275991\" src=\"https:\/\/quipperhome.wpcomstaging.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Momentum-dan-Impuls-Fisika-Kelas-11-h.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"237\" height=\"128\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perubahan momentum udara yang terjadi di dalam roket menyebabkan roket mengerjakan gaya vertikal ke bawah pada udara dalam roket. Sesuai dengan hukum III newton, muncul reaksi, yaitu udara dalam roket mengerjakan gaya pada roket dengan besar yang sama, tetapi arahnya berlawanan sehingga gaya yang dikerjakan udara dalam roket pada roket berarah vertikal ke atas. Gaya vertikal ke atas yang bekerja pada roket inilah yang kita sebut sebagai <\/span><b>gaya dorong pada roket sehingga roket dapat bergerak naik<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (gaya dorong ke atas roket).
